Huh? What?
Wake up! Come on Slowpoke! It's time to go!
Cotty wakes up and looks around. It's midnight and all lights in his house are off. Cotty searches for any signs of movement but see none. Soon another doink is heard. Our young hero turns towards his window and opens it. "Finally you're awake! Come on now! I know you remembered we're going to the lake tonight to go find that legendary Pokemon!" That's right! Tonight is the night these two young boys plan on becoming famous for catching a legendary Pokemon at a local lake. Cotty gets dressed and rushes outside.
Outside waiting is his friend Alex. Cotty and Alex have been friends since they we're in diapers, never parting each others side. Tonight they decided to embark on an amazing adventure.
Cotty and Alex start towards the lake. Cotty is bit scared and hold his jacket close to his body as the cold nips at him. "Don't worry!," Alex says. "Pokemon are our friends. My dad says so! And He's one of the Frontier Brains!" Alex's comment gives Cotty some reassurance and the two begin to pick up the pace.
Finally, at the lake the two boys begin to search. After about an half hour of searching, Alex begins to get frustrated. "Aargh! What's taking so long! How hard is it to find one Pokemon!" Suddenly they notice a briefcase sitting next to the lake edge. The lads begin to move towards it when suddenly a strange man in futuristic clothing picks up the briefcase! The man smirks "This could be useful."
"Put that down!," Alex shouts loudly, startling a few Starly to flutter from there sleep. "What!? just who are you little boy? Nevermind, you see us adults work. This is not child's play. Now go home before you're mommy worries about you. I doubt you're allowed to be out this late." The strange man says while feeling pretty good about acquiring this new item. Alex then begins to smile. "Cotty now!" Out of no where, Cotty tackles the strange man from behind. This is the type of thrill the two boys have always wanted. The man throws the briefcase on his way to the ground and Alex rushes to pick it up. He opens it and see it contains 3 Pokeballs. Alex quickly makes a decision. He picks up one ball and throws it while giving a command for the Pokemon to come out. A fiery Chimchar appeared! He then picks up another ball and throws it to Cotty. "Here! Use the Pokemon inside to help us defeat this creep!"
Cotty catches the ball and looks down for a moment. Cotty didn't like pokemon to much. His dad was a great trainer and was killd by his own Garchomp when Cotty was just a boy. But this was not the time to be afraid. Cotty threw the Pokeball and a confident Turtwig appeared. The strange man looked bewildered. "Hmmp. Fine then. It's better to take no gain then to have a loss. I will see you two later." The futuristic man dashes away from the lake. "AWW YEAH!" Did you see that Cotty! We had that guy with his tail between his legs! He was totally at our mercy!
"Hey! I think I left the briefcase over here!"...
