So yeah, maybe most of us are disappointed because of the graphics and maybe the new controls but it is still a zelda game and there are some things I want to see in this game. Like what other new weapons will there be? What kind of new areas (like the twilight realm on TP) and new characters? Skyward Sword has been confirmed to be a Prequel to OoT by Eiji Aonuma. Meaning that we will see more of the past in this Major Zelda Timeline. What do you guys expect from this game other than what we have already seen in the previews?

Im not sure if there will be a young link, but they have stated that there will be time travel like in OoT, so perhaps. But It's a Prequel because It will take place before Ocarina of Time.

Link is supposed to be older in SS, at least that's what was said before the trailer came out. It looks like he's about the same age as TP Link to me. If it's a prequel to OoT maybe we'll finally find out more about Link's parents. Clearing up the timeline would be nice, but the Zelda timeline is shot to bits as it is. The split time theory is nice but I wonder if that's what the developers were actually thinking.

Yeah from what we have seen, he is the older link and there hasn't been a young link showed. Thats what I want too, I want to clear up the timeline cuz it's pretty interesting.

Maybe he's the Link Before, as in, a Link earlier in the timeline.
I know Nintendo devs have said that OoT Link is the first Link, but if this is a prequel, then there's always room for additions.

But hey, I'm looking forward to it! Zelda games are my love - among other titles but that's not the point. Like I mentioned earlier, it looks like a child of TP and WW.

Egh... I'm very disappointed with the direction that the Zelda games are going in. It all seems hastily thought out now, and like they're just piecing the timeline together recklessly. And the cross between the cell-shaded graphics and TP's graphics is... interesting, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. What anyone was hoping for, rather.

I'd really like to see another Zelda game with young Link. Not toon Link, but young Link, the way he was in OoT and MM. That would be great.

I wish they would pick between cel shading and realistic graphics, I like the cross less and less each time I see it. I didn't want to see graphics as realisitic as, say, Uncharted, but I wanted to see TP's graphics improved.

I would even be happy with another cel shaded game for home consoles. I know that the handheld Zeldas are cel shaded, but the graphics are nowhere near as nice as Wind Waker's. I absolutely loved WW, but I was less than impressed with ST (both graphics and gameplay), and from what I've heard PH isn't much better.

I would guess it's a different Link, just based on the timeline. Technically OoT was the first in the timeline but apparently SS is...
Still, it'd be nice to see a child Link again. Don't get me wrong, I adore "adult" Link, but having a child Link is just classic.


Still, it's a Zelda game, and I want to play it.

Wait, How is it a prequel if its a different Link? Lol. If its the Link before OoT Link they should have just said that and save a lot of confusion.

Can't wait for this now, a lot of details have been told such as having a weapon upgrade which is something never been done in a zelda game (other than double clawshot) but this shows that they are putting in more things rather than having the same formula in the game. I am hyped for this Skyward Sword 355223
